Bad Blogger!!!!

ok, I've been a really bad blogger. I have no excuse. I'm still trying to remember I actually have a blog. Me and the computer are still learning about each other.

anyway, the little one is 1!!! this Sunday she had her b-day. Now, that was a quick year!!
I can't believe it. she now walking, talking, and bossing the whole family around.....even Paige.
all she does is yell and they give her what she wants. very independent little girl. she finds things to entertain herself very easily. I have to admit, fred and I have not been very good about having "age appropiate" toys for her in the play room. she uses her brother and sister's toys. loves star wars and playing in the play kitchen. Where all the little pieces are. Although she did get some toys for her b-day. she really loves the dolls. "her babies"

my BIG girl!!!

yes, it has happened. Kylie has started taking steps on her own.
It first happened on Tuesday. While we were at the park. No body
was really paying attention to her. Thats the type of kid she is. She amuses
all by herself. she started walking to another toy. (probaly about 4 steps)
once we noticed, Paige and all her friend were all around trying to get her to
do more. The poor thing, always has to have Paige in her face!!
Anyway, she still is not walking regularly. But, you can see her well on way.
And believe me, Fred and I are not encouring it. Big brother and big
sister are on a mission. Although, Kylie does enjoys keeping up with them.
My little baby is growing sooo quickly..its so hard to savor every
minute!!!

trick-or-treat

ok...Mike was spiderman(his latest craze) he had two costumes. If you've seen spiderman 3, you know there are 2 spiderman suits. One is black and one of course is red. he decided he would surprise us with which one he would wear to trick-or-treat..

Halloween...

Paige had her little program at school on Friday. It was so cute, she knew all the songs and the sign language real well.

I made cupcakes for everyone to bring to there partys. Even Kylie had a little Halloween party at the gym playroom. so, she brought her cupcakes too. I also did some goodie bags that looked like a bouquet of candy....so cute!!

First swim meet!

On tuesday, Paige was asked to be part a swim meet. Where her and Mike do there swim lessons.(my healthclub-Boston Sports Club). The instructors chose whom they thought would

be good contenders. Unfortunely Mike was not yet ready. He says he really wants to do the next one. Which will be in March. Paige was trying hard to be brave and confident about this.

Yet, I could see the fear and anxiety all over her face. Did I also mention she was the youngest to race. and the smallest! She raced against an 8 and 10 girls. she actually came in 2nd!! They had to swim 2 lengths of the pool. If it were one length it would have been real close.

Haunted Web!!!

Mike and Paige designed what they called the "haunted web." they had Fred and I stay away from the basement until they were done.

It was scarier in the dark with just candles. And of course they hiding and jumped out when we started walking into the web. (I think Mike was the most scared...even though he was doing the scareing!!!)

bad habit!

I made the mistake of taking Paige every so often to the nail salon when I need to go. Now she thinks she is supposed to come with me every time I go. She very rarely makes it out of the salon without several smuges. This time oddly enough made it home with nails in tack.

Big brother love....

Of all the toys in the family room, Kylie is simply drawn to her brothers very precious Star Wars collection. (Even when he's not around). We do not understand the curiousity!! Michael used to get upset and worried she would do something bad to them. Now I think he enjoys having someone else love them like him!

busy.busy weekend......

Even though this was a very busy weekend, it was alot of fun. We even got to do our (really Fred) pumpkin carving. and I made my famous apple pies!! I got some great shots with my new camera...I love!! taking pictures is so much more fun with a good camera!!

what a busy weekend. On of my very favorite!! we have several traditions on this weekend.

We do our apple picking, pumpkin picking, and the Sandwich Fair. ( a very similiar, but, much smaller topsfield fair).

So we were off on Friday night. We ended up with a couple of extras this year. Thomas and Natalie. So, we called in the support (suellen and Kerry) to help. Thank God, having five little kids is hard!! So Saturday morning, we headed off to the apple orchard. One we love in Tamworth NH. It's not to big. Hard for kids to get lost . We filled many bags.

uuggg....teeth!!!!

They really don't seem like such a commodity until they're gone. When Paige was 2 she bumped her tooth. ( top front ) At her first dentist appointment we were told it had to be pulled. Due to an absess. That was at age 3. Three months later while on vacation she knocked out two more. Right next to the missing one!! Three gone!! At almost 6, she still has no top teeth. So three years!! Now Thursday, While Kylie was playing with her sister. ( I'm sure not safely)
she bumped her top teeth. She just grew in two months ago. And yes, one had to be pulled the other is now slightly moved. According to the dentist it will be fine. I hope so!! So she also will have no front tooth for the next 6 years!!! But, the good news we have Mike. He has 1 extra tooth. Right in the front top!! figures...oh yea....Megan reminded me-she is the toothless aunty!!!
so the girls should fit fight in!! (thanks Megan)
